INTEGRATED SYSTEMS
The greatest efficiency and benefit is achieved when systems are integrated to allow monitoring and control of Fire and Security systems from a central location. Geography is not a limitation – facilities across the country or across the world can be included in one Integrated System.
- Fire Alarm Systems provide trouble and alarm signals and can be monitored centrally and viewed as a graphic display describing the location of the initiating device. The proper responders are then notified based on an established protocol.
- Access Control systems log all attempts to gain entrance. Unauthorized attempts to gain entry are displayed as an alert with a description as to why the use is invalid.
- Video Surveillance records and displays images. Images displaying threatening movements or actions can be noted for a response. Cameras can also be used to track a suspicious person or vehicle.
- Communication Systems are a key component of an integrated system. These systems serve several functions including; paging, voice over IP, two-way verbal communication, loud speakers and nurse call systems.
