ACCESS CONTROL
Electronic Access Control Systems are computer-based systems that monitor and control the access for each cardholder. The system allows restriction of a cardholder’s access to specific entrances, time of day, and day of week. Each valid use and rejected attempt to use the card is time and date stamped and logged into a database. The system initiates an alert anytime an invalid use of a card is attempted.
Lost or stolen cards can be immediately deactivated to avoid compromising security.
