John Goodwyne, President of Low Voltage Contractors, Inc. (LVC), a Twin Cities electrical contractor specializing in the sales, installation and servicing of Fire Alarm and Integrated Systems, announced the following appointments in an employee meeting on April 24. 2009:
  • Dan Westberg, age 54, the current Operations Manager and a 23 year LVC employee is named Vice President. Dan will continue in his current position with responsibility for Project Management and all installation and service operations of the Company.
  • Robert Hoertsch, age 57, whose functions have been sales, sales management and general management, is promoted from Vice President to President replacing John Goodwyne. Bob is a 20 year employee of LVC.
  • John Goodwyne, age 70, will assume the position as Chair of the Board of Directors.
These announcements reward the long tenure and loyal service of these two people who have earned the respect of their co-workers and of those in the Electrical Industry. Both have been active with the Minneapolis Chapter of National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA).

Mr. Hoertsch is a current member of the Board, and Mr. Westberg serves on the Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (JATC), Trustee of the JATC, Labor Management Committee and represents NECA on the Labor Contract Negotiating Committee.
